ASS were selected as a vendor to attend the Singapore Ministry of Defence’s ‘Army Safety Day’ Seminar at the Pasir Laba Camp on 13 April 2017. The seminar is the Army’s annual get together to highlight past and current safety issues, procedures and strategies. The seminar is also attended by other branches of the armed forces such as, the Airforce, Navy and Civil Defence.

ASS displayed and demonstrated the ZoneSafe range of products with particular emphasis on ZoneSafe Compact and ZoneSafe TUF Tag systems and solutions.

The products were well received by various departments including, logistics, engineering, transport and the airforce.

MOD 3

Schneider Singapore

Schneider Singapore are the latest company to embrace the ZoneSafe Proximity Warning System. After an initial trial with one vehicle, Schneider have placed an order for a further five systems.

The systems will be used at the customer and visitor section of Schneider’s distribution centre to help prevent incidents between Fork Lift Trucks and personnel/visitors.

Rolls-Royce Singapore have awarded MHA SEA Pte Ltd and ASS Pte Ltd with a 12 month contract to provide Preventive Maintenance Services for the Automated Flow Lines at the Seletar Assembly Plant in Singapore.

MHA and ASS will perform quarterly Preventive Maintenance checks and provide valuable system performance feedback to Rolls-Royce via comprehensive reports.

Rolls-Royce Singapore have awarded MHA SEA Pte Ltd and ASS Pte Ltd with a 12 month contract to provide Call-Out Support Services for the Automated Flow Lines at the Seletar Assembly Plant in Singapore.

MHA and ASS will provide call-out services on a 365 day x 24 hour basis.

Rolls-Royce Singapore

Rolls-Royce Singapore have awarded MHA SEA Pte Ltd and ASS Pte Ltd with a contract to deliver an additional Engine Build Platform for the existing Vertical Core Automated Flow Line at the Seletar Assembly Plant in Singapore.

The additional Platform is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2016 and will assist Rolls-Royce to meet their delivery schedules for the Trent 100 Engine.

SATS Food Industries

SATS Food Industries have extended the Preventive Maintenance and Support Contract for their Automated Systems located at the SICC2 facility, Changi Airport, Singapore for a 12 Month period.

ASS Pte Ltd have been supporting SATS at this site since 2005. The extended contract includes for the support of the Cart Transport Management System (CTMS), the Cart Transport System (CTS), the Buffer Management System (BMS) and the Material Handling System (MHS).

The full scope of work includes for comprehensive Preventive Maintenance, 365 day x 24 hr support both locally in Singapore and from the UK, 3rd party support for the Stratus ft Servers, Ethernet Networks, Modicon PLCs, RFID Tag Reading System and Anti Virus updates.

ZoneSafe Products

ASS will be showcasing the ZoneSafe range of safety products at the OS+H Asia 2016 exhibition which is being held at Suntec Singapore between Wednesday 24 and Friday 26 August 2016.

ASS will be erecting their ‘Pop-Up’ exhibition booth together with demonstration equipment at Booth F13.

OS+H Asia 2016 Expo 2015 Booth

Orapi Applied (S) Pte Ltd have awarded ASS with a project to provide Central Monitoring Systems (CMSs) associated with their contracts to SATS Catering for the supply of chemicals to the Warewash Machines at both the SICC1 and SICC2 facilities in Singapore.

ASS will provide a PLC/SCADA based solution to monitor the volume of chemicals used for each Warewash Machine. The systems will provide visibility to the Orapi site based technicians and produce reports which will be sent automatically via E-mail.

Further to ASS Pte Ltd completing the controls and mains supplies installation, Expert Tooling and Automation Ltd of the UK has awarded ASS Pte Ltd with a contract to provide warranty support for 5 semi-automatic engine strip and build platforms.

The contract includes for stand-by and call-out support for a 2 year period.

OSHAS 1800 Certification

Having successfully renewed their bizSAFE Level 3 Certification, ASS Pte Ltd are embarking on a journey to obtain OSHAS 18001 Certification.

ASS’s client base in the Aerospace and Airline industries is safety oriented and it makes perfect sense for ASS to enhance their Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management Systems.

This task is being overseen by Hidayu Jaffar who is currently studying with SIM for a BSc in Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace. Hidayu will produce the documents for review and approval by an external auditor.

bizSAFE Level 3

ASS Pte Ltd have successfully renewed their bizSAFE Level 3 Certification with the Singapore WHS Council. The certification was awarded subject to a comprehensive audit by an approved WHS Council professional.

The certification is valid for a 2 year period until December 2018. A copy of the Certificate is available for download at the documents section.

Rolls-Royce Singapore has awarded MHA SEA Pte Ltd and ASS Pte Ltd with a contract to provide two heavy duty trolleys for engine assembly at the Seletar Assembly Plant in Singapore.

The trolleys will have the capacity to handle the Trent 1000 engine together with the build stand.

Further to a competitive tender, SATS Food Industries have awarded ASS with a contract to supply, install and commission replacement chains for part of the Overhead Cart Transport System Power and Free Conveyor located at the SICC2 facility.

The scope includes for two replacement chains with a total length in excess of 400 meters.
